چکیده

Citrus (family Rutaceae) stands as a prominent fruit crop on global scale, bearing substantial significance. Renowned for its abundance of fiber, amino acids, antioxidants, vitamin C, and carbohydrates. However, the successful production citrus is persistently challenged by menacing presence canker caused Xanthomonas citri subsp. (Xcc), posing 5-30% yield losses in Pakistan. Current study was aimed to manage Xcc through antibiotics copper-based chemicals under lab. field conditions. In vitro evaluations showed that Enrofloxacin expressed maximum inhibition zone (35.68mm), followed Enco-Mix (33.50mm), Pevivet-5 (33.48mm), Kanamycin sulphate (30.41mm), Sinobiotic (30.02mm), Streptomycin (29.33mm) Gentam-20% (28.26mm) compared control. Field experiments concluded Copper nitrate exhibited minimum disease incidence (16.07%), hydrooxide (21.78%), Amistar top (22.28%), oxychloride (24.37%), acetate (24.63%), but Control (65.00%). The mixture Cu (NO2)3 + conditions most effective regarding management canker. revelation appreciated efficacy strongly suggested this treatment against various bacterial pathogens.

IntRODUctIOn Compared with the rest of the world, the California citrus industry is relatively free of diseases that can impact growers’ profits. Unfortunately, exotic plant pathogens may become well established before they are recognized as such. This is primarily because some of the initial symptoms mimic other diseases, mineral deficiencies, or toxicities. In addition, development of disease...
